Muhorro Town Council Receives an ICT KIT for Revenue Automation
Muhorro Town Council Local Government has received two laptops, one printer and an internet router to be used in improving tax collection in Muhorro Town Council using the automated Revenue Management System, e-logRev aimed at increasing revenue collections.
The purpose of the system is to bring back trust between local governments and taxpayers. The taxpayers know that the taxes go directly to the local government unlike before when the taxpayer was not very sure whether that money would reach or not.

The system also generates a report on how much has been collected per day instead of waiting for an audit to ascertain how much has been collected.
The system also sensitizes taxpayers on what taxes to pay, when and how to pay them as well as the benefits of paying these taxes. In addition, the system helps in the registration of taxpayers automatically.
