Message from Chairperson LCIII

Hello, my name is Hon. Nangoza Godfrey. Welcome to Muhorro Town Council Local Government. The Town Council vision is “A clean Town Council with hard working, productive and informed community” and will be achieved through the coordinated delivery of services focusing on National priorities and significant local needs in order to accelerate sustainable growth and development in the Town Council. The key priority areas of the plan are Primary Education, Production, Health, Roads, water, and support to community-initiated income-generating projects with due consideration to the marginalized groups like the Youths, Women, Persons with disabilities, and older persons.
In order to realize the set objectives, I call upon the central Government, donor fraternity, Civil Society Organizations, cultural institutions, Faith Based Organizations, the private sector and the entire community to adopt the Parish Development Model  in order to take the Town Council to a better state.
