Muhorro Town Council Hosts Sheikhs Arab Republic of Jordan
Muhorro Town Council (MTC) has hosted a team of Sheikhs from Sabil Al Huddah International Organization, an organization in the Arab Republic of Jordan. The team is on a one month trip to Uganda to preach to Muslims in various mosques in Uganda. The Sheikhs visited Muhorro Town Council on 25th May, 2022 and the function took place at Nyamiti Cell, Muhorro Town Council Kagadi District.
Among the Sheikhs who visited Muhorro Town Council included Sheikh Hua Mohammad Ahmad Hammad, Mohammad Ahmed Ibrahim Hammad, Ahamad Ibrahim Ali Alsafadi, Ali Namour Ali AI-Qadi and Ghazi Abdalla Ibrahim Jawawdeh.
The Sheikhs interacted with Muhorro Mosque Community and Muhorro Town Council leadership and pledged to provide support in the following areas; Safe water, Education infrastructure, Health infrastructure, Care for Orphans, Care for the PWDs, Care for the Widows and improving the Worship infrastructure for Muslims.
In this regard, Sabil Al Huddah International Organization pledged to start with the construction of boreholes and shallow wells, a school and a modern mosque in Muhorro Town Council.
The MTC Principal Town Clerk Mr. Isingoma John appreciated the leadership of Muhorro Muslims and Uganda Muslim Supreme Council for the guidance and lobbying for Muhorro.
The function was attended by the Mayor Muhorro Town Council, Town Clerk, Councilors, Muhorro Mosque Executive, other religious leaders of different faith, and Muhorro Town council general community
